Cooper

Cooper (at left with Jessi) is a thoroughbred gelding that has been used for Pony Club lessons and events over the last three years. We are not sure of his age. We believe he is 17, but acts and looks younger. He is 16.1 hands and dark bay as you see on the left. He has a sweet temperament, very forgiving, loads easily and is fine with cross ties, over water, clipping, mane pulling and shoeing. He has no vices, a nice back, long legs and a good scope for jumps. We have never had any problems with his health and is up to date on worming and shots: 4-way and West Nile both given in the spring. He also had a coggins taken in June, which came back negative. He has been ridden cross country and on trails and enjoys every minute of it. He is content while jumping, actively watches his surroundings, but is calm. He has jumped up to 3'3" in stadium jumping with lots of room to spare and jumped around 3' cross country. He still has a lot of jumps left in him. He has been schooled 1st level dressage with great potential. He needs a rider who has a little experience and not just starting out, but can also work with anyone in an at upper levels. Cooper is easy to love, gets along great with others, loves to work and is a great performer.
